Sales Engineer; Midwest / Central

Description:
Harmonic Drive LLC has an immediate opening for a Sales Engineer to cover the Midwest / Central States. The position reports to the Sales Engineering Manager Central Region. It requires a technical person (with sales engineering qualifications) who can represent the company's electromechanical motion products and interface with capital equipment manufacturers. Motion control and servo motor knowledge is especially desired with power transmission and application engineering experience a plus.

Requirements:

• BSME or BSEE degree
• 5+ years related experience in an industrial sales environment is preferred.
• Travel of 25%-50%
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills.

Job Location:
Remote Office - Chicago or Dallas area is highly preferable. Some flexibility in location can be afforded.

Sales Engineer; East Coast

Description:
Harmonic Drive LLC has an immediate opening for a Sales Engineer to cover the East Coast.
The position reports to the Sales Engineering Manager- Eastern Region. Engineering Department

Design Engineer

Description:
Harmonic Drive LLC has an immediate opening for a Design Engineer for its Peabody, MA manufacturing facility. The position reports to the Vice President of Engineering. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of electromechanical motion products with a fine attention to detail. Hands on assembly and test experience are a plus. Understanding of the dynamics of motion and a fundamental knowledge of precision Power Transmission components will also be expected.

Requirements:

• BSME or BSEE degree
• 5+ years related experience in an engineering manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to produce fast and accurate layouts and detail drawings with minimum supervision.
• Experience with SolidWorks
• Full working knowledge of GD&T and ANSI standards
• Excellent communication and analytical creative skills

Quality Department

Quality Assurance Technician

Description:
Harmonic Drive LLC has an immediate opening for a quality technician. Candidates must be capable of planning and performing variety of inspections on small complex mechanical parts using hand tools (caliper micrometer, height gauge, etc.) and computer controlled inspection equipment. Must be able to read mechanical drawings and interpret GD&T. Experience in programming and running CMMs is a plus.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of precision mechanical product inspection and quality assurance experience.
