The RHS/RFS series DC servo actuators are high-resolution, high-torque actuators combining precision harmonic drive gearing and DC servo motors. These actuators are recommended for use in almost all industrial fields, including industrial robots, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, measuring/inspection instruments - all of which demand precision motion control.

High torque, high stiffness
These performance capabilities are made possible thanks to the use of new "S" series harmonic drive gearing that has been developed in pursuit of high torque and high torsional stiffness.

High levels of accuracy and response
In addition to the true performance capabilities of harmonic drive gearing, a high level of response is realized through a substantial improvement made to the torque/inertia ratio.

Enhanced resistance to vibration and impact
Ingenuity is apparent in the details, including the fact that the rotor section has been re-constructed into a double-bearing configuration.

Drip-proof construction
A totally enclosed, splash-proof (IP-44) protective construction assures a high level of reliability.

A rich line-up of variations and options
A rich variety of models is offered, including shaft and flange type output members, etc. Furthermore, feedback devices such as tachogenerators and encorders are available for all models.
